As we all learn to adapt to the operating and economic constraints that Covid-19 brings to Victorian businesses our Property Managers are working harder than ever to provide knowledge and support along the way.
Today our focus is on Senior Property Manager, Maggie Taranto.
Maggie and her husband live in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs with a multitude of pets that keep them on their toes. Maggie has set up a bright, quiet home office in her spare room and has discovered some advantages to working from home, as she explains.
“To be frank, the initial idea of working remotely seemed overwhelming. My main concern was being able to continue providing the level of support our clients deserve and come to expect from me.
“Fortunately, I have found from this experience I have gotten to know my clients on another level. I think when we all go through the same unfortunate circumstances together, we as people tend to come together and relationships are strengthened. By truly understanding the position of both Landlords and Tenants and being armed with the most up to date legislation knowledge, I can confidently guide and support both parties as we wade through the next steps of lockdown.
“Overall, I am grateful that my job allows me to continue working and the transition was smoother than I had anticipated. There are elements I have come to love working from home like taking the dogs for a walk at lunch, being able to prepare dinner earlier and more quality time with my husband now I don’t have to commute.”
