Dex Collections Client Journey Part Two

Jack Xu, director of promotional products supplier Dex Collections reached out to Crabtrees senior executive Andrew Loudon early last year to find a larger facility to support the exponential growth of his business.

Offering a wide range of promotional gifts including stress shapes, bags and pens, Dex Collections has an international reputation, importing and wholesaling products in Australia, New Zealand and the USA, as well as creating products through two Chinese factories.

Currently based in Dandenong South, Jack found he would soon be needing a considerably bigger building to support the rapid growth of the business. ‘I contacted Crabtrees because they had sold my last warehouse in 2016 so I already had a working relationship with them,’ he says.

After a thorough search period looking for a property that could accommodate Dex Collections’ specific needs, they settled on a sizeable allotment in Hammond Business Park, Dandenong South and developed the plans for the new facility in conjunction with Vaughan Constructions.

The purpose built warehouse, which is now almost completed, will feature a total building area of 4,905 sqm including showroom and office plus a concrete hard stand, loading yard and 74 parking spaces. ‘The new facility is a vast improvement on space,’ Jack says. ‘It’s much more comfortable, and the additional area the new premises provides will enable us to continue to expand the business.’

Dex Collections will move into the new facility on the 1st of August this year. ‘I was really happy with the service Crabtrees provided, they did a great job,’ Jack said. ‘I would 100% work with them again in the future.’
